Frequently Asked Questions

Why isn't my controller detected?

Press any button on the controller to activate it. Some browsers require user interaction before detecting gamepads. Make sure you're using Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari.

Does this work with wireless controllers?

Yes! Both USB and Bluetooth connected controllers are supported. For Bluetooth, make sure your controller is paired with your computer first.

Why doesn't vibration work?

Vibration (haptic feedback) requires browser support for the Gamepad Haptics API. Currently, Chrome and Edge have the best support. Some older controllers may not support web-based vibration.

How do I fix stick drift?

Stick drift is usually a hardware issue. You can increase the deadzone in games to compensate, or clean/replace the analog stick mechanism. Our tool helps you identify how severe the drift is.

Is my data safe?

Absolutely. All testing happens locally in your browser. No controller data is ever sent to any server.
